Yet \u201cwhat if the racism explanation for ongoing disparities is wrong\u201d and \u201cracial economic and incarceration gaps cannot close without addressing personal responsibility and family attitudes,\u201d among other things? \u201cWith the university now explicitly committed to the racism explanation,\u201d there\u2019ll be \u201clittle chance of changing course and addressing the behaviors that lie behind many racial disparities.\u201d Persisting inequality will then produce \u201ca new round of quotas and self-incrimination.\u201d And graduates will \u201cproceed further to dismantle our civilization.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Libertarian: The Politics of School Reopenings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many \u201cpublic school districts and teachers\u2019 unions are fighting\u201d to keep their schools closed \u201cin the name of safety,\u201d but new data suggest that they really care more about politics, reports Reason\u2019s Corey A. DeAngelis. According to an Education Week study, districts in \u201cstates with stronger teachers\u2019 unions\u201d are \u201csignificantly less likely to reopen in person this fall.\u201d In fact, those in \u201cstates that require union membership\u201d are 25 percentage points less likely to do so. And an analysis by Brookings Institution Senior Fellow Jon Valant found that\u2019s largely because of \u201cpeople\u2019s political leanings and support for\u201d President Trump: The \u201cless support Trump had in an area, the less likely that school district is to offer in-person learning.\u201d Politics, it seems, and not \u201cthe safety of students, families and teachers,\u201d is the key factor in reopening decisions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2020 journal: Elephant in the Convention-Room<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Chicago Tribune\u2019s John Kass advises readers to \u201cpay attention\u201d to what Democrats aren\u2019t mentioning at their convention \u2014 namely, the \u201cgrowing violence\u201d in big US cities. Why not? \u201cUrban violence threatened the peace of targeted Democratic suburban voters,\u201d who make up the key \u201cswing vote.\u201d Meanwhile, \u201cthis new left Democratic Party of 2020 sees only two types: The Oppressed and The Oppressors,\u201d so convention-speakers such as Bernie Sanders instead praised \u201cvirtually open borders, free college\u201d and \u201cthe defunding or \u2018reimagining\u2019 of police.\u201d The convention\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">theme<\/a>: \u201cWe the People.\u201d Yet if you \u201cdisagree with the Democrats,\u201d are you still \u201c \u2018the people\u2019 \u201d \u2014 or \u201csome nonhuman\u201d in \u201cthe basket of deplorables\u201d? That, says Kass, is \u201cwhat this election is about.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eye on the Economy: The Sunbelt\u2019s Sunny <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Though the national economy is \u201cstill fragile\u201d because of the COVID shutdowns, \u201csouthern states that were hot spots just a month ago\u201d are showing improvement, cheers Bloomberg Opinion\u2019s Conor Sen.
