In one of her final Instagram stories, she asked fans to pray for her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKeep me in your prayers. I\u2019ll be back soon,\u201d DeVayne said in a video shared on Saturday, which showed her in a hospital bed. She was hospitalized last month and shared on Instagram that she \u201cmay be going through kidney failure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, she revealed that she was diagnosed with scleroderma, a condition that attacks internal organs.<\/p>\n<p>Franchise creator RuPaul said he was \u201cheartbroken\u201d to learn of her death.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am so grateful that we got to experience her kind and beautiful soul. She will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. May her generous and loving spirit shine down on us all,\u201d he said in a statement on the show\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> account. \u201cOn behalf of VH1, World of Wonder and the cast and crew of RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race, I extend my deepest sympathy \u2013 from our family to hers.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<blockquote data-dnt=\"true\" data-width=\"550\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">&#8220;I am heartbroken to learn of the passing of Chi Chi DeVayne.<br \/><\/br>I am so grateful that we got to experience her kind and beautiful soul.<br \/><\/br>She will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. Rest easy the sweetest most sensitive kind and wholesome angel,\u201d she wrote on Twitter Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Trixie Mattel, who competed alongside Chi Chi in Season 3 of \u201cAll Stars,\u201d remembered her as \u201can iconic queen literally everyone in our industry will always love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And Ongina, who appeared last season on \u201cAll Stars,\u201d called her \u201cseriously one of the nicest people I\u2019ve ever met.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>World of Wonder, which produces the series, also expressed condolences for the Louisiana native.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re heartbroken to learn that Chi Chi DeVayne has passed away today,\u201d the company wrote on Twitter. \u201cHer drag spread a message of love and kindness that truly touched each person she met.
