He has attended several Senate Hearings and published a recent <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ftxpolicy.com\/posts\/possible-digital-asset-industry-standards\">post<\/a> titled \u201cPossible Digital Asset Industry Standards\u201d on Oct. 19.<\/p>\n<p>The senators did not disclose additional details as to what stage the DCCPA is at and when the bill will be published for the Senate to review. <\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Industry reps suggest improvements to Stabenow\u2013Boozman crypto regulation bill<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The DCCPA bill was officially introduced into the U.S. Congress on Aug. 3. 2022. <\/p>\n<p>If the DCCPA passes into law, it would grant the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) \u2014 one of the two U.S. market regulators \u2014 an extension of regulatory powers over the sector.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The bill will still need to be passed by both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives and be signed by President Joe Biden in order to become law. <\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"law_decoded\"><\/template><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
