He was 76.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    His former manager, Craig Marquardo, told <em>The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> that Gallagher had died on Nov. 11 after a short health battle, surrounded by his family in Palm Springs, California.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    The legendary comic had previously suffered a host of heart attacks, something he and David Letterman talked about during an <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance on TV. Gallagher became a household name in 1980 with his comedy special, \u2018An Uncensored Evening\u2019, which was directed by Mike Nesmith of The Monkees band.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    That was seen as among the first comedy stand up special to air on cable television. Gallagher did in all 12 comedy specials for Showtime over 27 years, with only George Carlin doing more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    But Gallagher\u2019s biggest comic touch employed a sledgehammer.
