Gaston<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The judge sided with the Bronx District Attorney\u2019s Office\u2019s request that he be remanded, and also issued an order of protection for the girl. Rivera\u2019s attorney Anna Sim had asked the judge for a partially secured bond of $30,000 at\u00a010%.<\/p>\n<p>Rivera appeared in court dressed in a tank top and khakis, fidgeting and trying to hide behind his attorney to avoid being photographed by <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> cameras. He will undergo medical and psyche evaluation.<\/p>\n<p>The little girl was left shaken by nearly being snatched from her stepdad in broad daylight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis kidnapping caused great harm to the little girl, who is upset, traumatized, and fearful after the attack,\u201d Pridmore said.<\/p>\n<p>Perez said on Thursday his \u201cheart hurts\u201d for his stepdaughter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis morning I cried because she came and hugged me and told me she was still worried,\u201d Perez said. The girl was crying at night and \u201cdidn\u2019t want to sleep alone,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe is a very sweet, lovely girl,\u201d he said. \u201cShe didn\u2019t even want to go to the police station to do a report because she was afraid. She is worried for me. She has a lot of questions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rivera had been sentenced to 25 years-to-life in for the 2003 murder of a 33-year-old man but was released in Aug. 25, records showed.
