According to <em>Forbes<\/em>, Ye\u2019s\u00a0$1.9 billion fortune plummeted to a reported $400 million.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Kanye West is facing a fresh lawsuit over a Boogie Down Productions sample on \u201cLife of the Party,\u201d his collaboration with Andr\u00e9 3000 from last year\u2019s <em>Donda<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The suit was filed not by BDP leader KRS-One, but the company that owns the rights to Boogie Down Productions\u2019 iconic 1986 Bridge Wars diss \u201cSouth Bronx,\u201d which was allegedly sampled without permission.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit500\" class=\"adUnits\" inserted=\"shortcode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to <em><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2022\/11\/07\/kanye-west-boogie-down-productions-lawsuit-life-party-stem-player-donda-krs-one\/\">TMZ<\/a><\/em>, the unnamed company claims Ye and his team initially reached out to clear the sample, but an agreement was never reached.
