Transformers produce heat due to the regular <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.csus.edu\/indiv\/b\/balachandra\/tlosses.htm\">process of conducting\u00a0electricity<\/a> and also through <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikibooks.org\/wiki\/A-level_Physics_(Advancing_Physics)\/Transformers\">eddy currents<\/a> and other losses, which are a side effect of how transformers work. This might be due to a malfunction inside the charger itself or a problem with the connection between the charger and the outlet. Also, check to make sure the charging port on your phone is clean, and inspect the USB port on the charger itself (if it has one) for signs of dirt or lint build-up.<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"50ko1-247-0\">Once the port is clean, try again, and if it still gets warm, use a different cable to see if the problem persists. These parts do not comply with safety standards and regulations that keep us safe.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, it\u2019s a well-known industry issue that online vendors such as Amazon.com and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/realmoney.thestreet.com\/investing\/global-equity\/alibaba-tencent-sites-added-to-u-s-notorious-markets-list-15917736\">AliExpress<\/a> sell many <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/wirecutter\/blog\/amazon-counterfeit-fake-products\/?tag=hotoge-20\">counterfeit<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2020\/09\/10\/business\/amazonbasics-electronics-fire-safety-invs\/index.html?tag=hotoge-20\">potentially hazardous<\/a> electronic products. This includes wireless, wired, and USB phone chargers. If you purchased a charger that is malfunctioning, seek a refund, and consider buying a new charger directly from the manufacturer of your phone, such as <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/shop\/iphone\/accessories\/power-cables\">Apple<\/a> or Samsung.<\/p>\n<p>If you do purchase a third-party charger from Amazon, buy only trusted name-brand products from vendors such as Anker, or consult our buying guide for advice. A recent analysis showed that around <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nymag.com\/intelligencer\/2022\/07\/amazon-fake-reviews-can-they-be-stopped.html?tag=hotoge-20\">42% of Amazon reviews are fake<\/a>, so you can\u2019t trust those alone.
