The publication cites <em>New York Times<\/em> columnist Ross Douthat having <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/07\/27\/opinion\/yellowstone-mountain-west.html\">referred<\/a> to the Kevin Costner-fronted series as \u201cthe most red-state show on television,\u201d along with <em>Daily Mail<\/em> having <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/tvshowbiz\/article-11403805\/Yellowstone-Cast-addresses-repeated-awards-snubs.html\">suggested<\/a> that <em>Yellowstone<\/em> is too \u201canti-woke\u201d to win awards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cThey refer to it as \u2018the conservative show\u2019 or \u2018the Republican show\u2019 or \u2018the red-state\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Game<\/a> of Thrones<\/em>,&#8217;\u201d Sheridan said ahead of the season five premiere for the show that focuses on the Dutton family\u2019s ranch. \u201cAnd I just sit back laughing. I\u2019m like, \u2018Really?&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    The prolific television producer continued, \u201cThe show\u2019s talking about the displacement of Native Americans and the way Native American women were treated and about corporate greed and the gentrification of the West, and land-grabbing. That\u2019s a red-state show?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    With its impressive ratings, <em>Yellowstone<\/em> was considered to be among the most surprising 2022 Emmys snubs when it failed to land a single nomination. Its lone nom throughout the course of its run thus far was for production design in 2021.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    In a column reacting to the lack of Emmy nominations for the show, <em>The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> chief television critic Daniel Fienberg said there was no truth to any assumption that TV Academy voters are too \u201cwoke\u201d to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>reciate the series.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cThe argument that\u00a0<em>Yellowstone<\/em>\u00a0and shows of its ilk are discriminated against because of ideology is based on this peculiar insinuation that Taylor Sheridan and George Will are coffee-drinking companions,\u201d he wrote. \u201cInstead,\u00a0<em>Yellowstone<\/em>\u00a0is just a somewhat centrist drama in a genre that has traditionally leaned very slightly to the right.
