However, the exchange <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.binance.com\/en\/support\/announcement\/notice-of-removal-of-trading-pairs-2022-11-15-47642955ae7f4a3688133df8067ac3c2\">noted<\/a> that the FTT\/BUSD pair is still available on its exchange. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">At <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Binance?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Binance<\/a> we conduct regular reviews of listed assets to ensure they meet our standards to protect our users. <\/p>\n<p>Based on our recent reviews, we will remove and cease trading of several <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24FTT&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$FTT<\/a> trading pairs on 2022-11-15 04:30 (UTC):<\/p>\n<p>FTT\/BNB<br \/>FTT\/BTC<br \/>FTT\/ETH<br \/>FTT\/USDT<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Binance (@binance) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/binance\/status\/1592020929999159296?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 14, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>The decision follows requests from community members to delist the token. In a tweet, influencer Cevo <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cryptocevo\/status\/1591554226156720135\">urged<\/a> Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao to im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely take action against FTT, suggesting delisting everything FTX-related to protect the exchanges\u2019 customers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Apart from Binance, BitMEX has <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.bitmex.com\/delisting-of-illiquid-contracts-ftt\/\">delisted<\/a> the perpetual swap contracts connected to FTT. This includes its FTT\/USD and FTT\/USDT pairs. The exchange cited a reduction in spot trading of the pairs as its reason for delisting. Like BitMEX, KuCoin has also delisted its FTT\/USDT perpetual contract on KuCoin Futures. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Zipmex has also <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/zipmex\/status\/1592378106618191872\">announced<\/a> that it would be delisting FTT on Nov. 22, 2022, but will leave withdrawals open until Feb. 14, 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>FTX collapse could see crypto sector layoffs accelerate<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Days after the beginning of the FTX crisis, its former CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried,\u00a0tweeted various cryptic messages, attracting wild theories and speculation within the crypto community. Some theorized that the tweets could be an act by Bankman-Fried to potentially make a defense by claiming insanity if he\u2019s ever taken to court.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After the FTX fraud was brought to light, an interview with Bankman-Fried in The New York Times garnered criticisms from Crypto Twitter for seemingly defending the actions of the former FTX CEO.
