In her 2011 trial, Casey\u2019s legal team said her 2-year-old daughter Caylee drowned in the family pool, but that her remains were found six months later in a wooded area near her family\u2019s home. While Anthony was acquitted on charges of murder, manslaughter and child abuse, she was convicted of providing false information to law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cCasey Anthony doesn\u2019t deserve a platform,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-11417051\/Dont-Casey-Anthony-15-minutes-fame-warns-MAUREEN-CALLAHAN.html\">opined<\/a> the <em>Daily Mail<\/em>. \u201cShe doesn\u2019t deserve to make money off this case, or attempt some kind of reputational rehabilitation, or receive the faintest acknowledgement in the public square \u2026 anything short of a confession is reason enough to pull it. That\u2019s the only right and decent call.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cI don\u2019t have a peacock sub<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a>ion but if I did I would cancel it over this,\u201d\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KFILE\/status\/1590066452001742850\">tweeted<\/a>\u00a0CNN reporter\u00a0Andrew Kaczynski.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Legal pundit Nancy Grace <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/video\/6315298121112\">said<\/a> she was asked to participate in the documentary and declined: \u201cWhatever we get is going to be nothing but a pack of lies and I don\u2019t want to be part of that \u2026 I don\u2019t want to be part of such an air brushed digitized version of her truth\u2026 her truth is very different than the truth.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    In a statement with the trailer\u2019s release, documentary director Dean defended: \u201cSince her acquittal in 2011, public opinion of\u00a0Casey\u00a0Anthony has been largely shaped by the media convinced of her guilt. Casey\u00a0had never given an in-depth or on-camera interview explaining her actions until now, and as a filmmaker and journalist, my interest was in getting closer to the unbiased truth by hearing all sides of the story \u2014 from opposing voices to\u00a0Casey\u00a0herself<em>.<\/em>\u00a0While having access to\u00a0Casey\u00a0was critical, it was even more important that we had complete editorial control over the outcome of the reporting we did.\u00a0Casey\u00a0did not see or give notes on the film. What emerges over the course of multiple interviews recorded over six months, is a startling psychological portrait of\u00a0Casey Anthony and a complete narrative of what she says happened to her daughter weighed against multiple sources of potential evidence. I believe the result will surprise many, and cause the American public to look at this story in a new light.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/crime\/casey-anthony-blames-father-daughter-caylee-death\">According to <em>People<\/em><\/a>, Anthony will accuse her father, George Anthony, of her daughter\u2019s death in the documentary. She also claims her father and brother, Lee, were abusing her. (Both men denied her claims in court and have never been charged, the article notes). \u201cHe was standing there with her,\u201d Anthony reportedly says. \u201cShe was soaking wet. He handed her to me. Said it was my fault. That I caused it. But he didn\u2019t rush to call 911 and he wasn\u2019t trying to resuscitate her. I collapsed with her in my arms. She was heavy, and she was cold. He takes her from me and he immediately softens his tone and says, \u2018It\u2019s going to be ok.\u2019 I wanted to believe him.
