TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of tweets from former CEO and founder Sam Bankman-Fried.<\/p>\n<p>The official <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> account of FTX on Nov. 16 tweeted a statement from Ray addressing Bankman-Fried\u2019s recent public statements, reiterating he \u201chas no ongoing role at [FTX], FTX US, or Alameda Research Ltd. and does not speak on their behalf.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">(3\/3) Mr. Bankman-Fried has no ongoing role at <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FTX_Official?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@FTX_Official<\/a>, FTX US, or Alameda Research Ltd. and does not speak on their behalf.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 FTX (@FTX_Official) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FTX_Official\/status\/1592985707819462657?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 16, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>On Nov. 14 Bankman-Fried began a strange Twitter thread that \u2014 over the course of 40 or so hours \u2014 eventually spelled out \u201cWhat H<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">APP<\/a>ENED\u201d across nine tweets, he then went on to claim he was meeting with regulators, wanting to \u201cdo right by customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Afterward, he began to lay out the finances and leverage of FTX and its sister trading firm Alameda Research on Nov. 16 claiming FTX\u2019s leverage was around $13 billion, not $5 billion as he originally thought.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Tom Brady and other celebrities named in class-action lawsuit against FTX<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FTX\u2019s downward spiral kicked off in early November with a series of events eventually leading to the exchange and its roughly 130 global subsidiaries filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the United States on Nov. 11.<\/p>\n<p>John J. Ray III took over as CEO on Nov.11 with FTX\u2019s bankruptcy filings.
