Almost two weeks after the pop star\u2019s tragic death, his manager <strong>Taylor Helgeson<\/strong> is opening up about what his last few days were like. Speaking to<em> Page Six<\/em> on Thursday, Taylor revealed the 34-year-old was not doing so well from the looks of it, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHe looked thin. He was extremely tired.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Related: Christy Carlson Romano \u2018Genuinely Concerned\u2019 When Aaron Bailed On Podcast<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-6377a73d216c0-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>While he was passionate about his work endeavors up until his death, his team felt he needed to take a break, as Taylor added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHe just looked like he needed to be doing anything but working. He looked like he needed to be taking care of him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>The manager, who began working for the former child star eight months before his death, met up with the <em>I Want Candy<\/em> vocalist at a music studio the week he passed away because they had plans to work on a new album together. But when the <strong>Big Umbrella Management<\/strong> exec saw Aaron\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance, he became concerned and confused because his declining physical health didn\u2019t match his upbeat attitude:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-6377a73d216c5-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cHe didn\u2019t seem okay. Now, when I say that, I think it\u2019s really important to kind of context that. He didn\u2019t seem okay physically \u2026 [but] mentally, he was the most excited I\u2019ve seen him in months. He was very intelligent and he was very conscious of what people wanted to see from him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Oof. We hate to hear he was struggling.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>While the <em>House of Carters<\/em> alum\u2019s cause of death is still under investigation, Taylor does not believe he was contemplating suicide because of how excited he was for his plans for the future. He explained:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-6377a73d216cb-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cHe was a guy with a lot of plans. We had so much stuff going on and, you know, Aaron was a really prideful guy in his own right, too. That\u2019s not his style.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Still, Aaron had a known challenge with mental health and addiction. According to law enforcement sources who spoke to <em>TMZ<\/em> earlier this month, cans of compressed air and prescription pills were discovered on the scene of his Lancaster, California home, where he was found dead in the tub.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Interestingly, Aaron\u2019s struggles with addiction were the main point of contention between him and his manager, who wanted him to check into an inpatient rehab program, revealing:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-6377a73d216d0-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWe were proposing [what] would have been \u2026 three months in Utah just on detoxing and kind of formulating new physical habits within your body.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The<em> Aaron\u2019s Party<\/em> artist was also in the midst of a child custody battle with on-again, off-again fianc\u00e9, <strong>Melanie Martin<\/strong>, over their son <strong>Prince<\/strong>, 11 months. While the <strong>OnlyFans<\/strong> star didn\u2019t check into an inpatient program, in September, he announced he had checked into an outpatient program to help his case. But in the middle of this year, the <em>7th Heaven<\/em> actor admitted he hadn\u2019t \u201cslept in a couple of days\u201d and was \u201cstressed out.\u201d But after catching up on his rest, Aaron asked his manager to help him create a will (which he never completed):<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-6377a73d216da-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI was like, \u2018You need a will,\u2019 so I reached out to my publicist at that time, and I had asked her to help with getting the paperwork. And so we started getting that together and we got the paperwork out and it never got signed. There were also rumors unfinished music was set to be released as well. On this, he shared:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAaron is signed to <strong>Sony<\/strong>. Aaron is not an independent artist and all releases that Aaron does need to be approved by the label period.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>When (and if) the time comes to share the work with the world, Big Umbrella Management will do whatever it can to make sure it benefits Carter\u2019s family:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-6377a73d216e3-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWhat matters is that when it goes through the correct channels, we are then able to be a part of making sure that what comes from that music goes to the right places, i.e. his son.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At this time, the team does not have any plans on focusing on the release of any of Aaron\u2019s unfinished projects, he insisted:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cRight now, we are grieving and we are not interested in projects.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-6377a73d216e8-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Honestly, that\u2019s probably for the best. Releasing anything right now would feel disrespectful to Aaron\u2019s family and friends who are trying to mourn his loss.
