Forty-seven years later I found it in the trunk with other interesting things from the 70s.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Washington County Library System shared the tale of tardiness <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/WashCoLib\/posts\/pfbid02rqx6DJYWg7uWo5oiPoJLR3rcAJDeM78CjKaP7kgnMMKoragmEwwDvJq23FHBWbiyl?__cft__[0]=AZWc9KSzdB5YPSvy6ppgj5MIMrsVPH0lOZ5rsAqwwTnglbbTPFJ9-48Brh3NlvItR6_kXMuue4x51PMU_p9G6Ed4Or7ijozmxWM_Nb0o3RAUZN2by5tQ2hhtXBVWUr4S10HDQ5FheWRcUMbuUbLZWFabLJJUfI5Vo3yj5aTAWs_yrWaUhixx2AKepNa6OnJlczIEJmUAGIbvZChjJvzFhwaZ&amp;__tn__=%2CO%2CP-R\">on Facebook<\/a>, explaining that it was happy to get the book back, and revealing the good <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> for the borrower that there won\u2019t be any late fees. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe writer was also concerned about any overdue fees, but since we don\u2019t charge those, it\u2019s no problem,\u201d the library said, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.upi.com\/Odd_News\/2022\/11\/17\/Lake-Elmo-Library-Minnesota-47-years-overdue\/7571668723164\/\">according to UPI<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a> user asked when the library stopped charging fees for overdue books.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGood question! We haven\u2019t had daily fines for overdue materials for a long time, but we do still charge a replacement fee if an item is lost or damaged,\u201d the Library System replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBack in January we also eliminated what was called a \u2018processing fee\u2019 related to extremely overdue items, so now there are no charges for materials that are returned late, just those that are lost or damaged,\u201d it added.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
