man charged in connection with Young Dolph\u2019s murder \u2014 and the alleged ringleader of the plot on the beloved Memphis r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er\u2019s life \u2014 has pleaded not guilty to all three of the felony counts leveled against him: first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Per the Associated Press, where the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> was <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/entertainment-music-crime-shootings-573b0a672cdec63af8661145d68d0776\">first reported<\/a>, his arraignment was held Thursday (November 17), the one-year anniversary of Dolph\u2019s death. Multiple outlets have since confirmed the AP\u2019s reporting.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            When reached for comment by The FADER, Govan\u2019s attorney William D. Massey laid out the trial\u2019s next steps. \u201cA plea of \u2019Not Guilty\u2019 gives notice to the court and the state that Mr. Govan contests the charges made against him and that the case will go forward in an adversarial posture,\u201d  he wrote in an email. \u201cWhen a motion for discovery follows, it requires the prosecutor to produce the material the state intends to use at trial. The purpose of the discovery rule is to prevent trial by ambush. We are now engaging in the discovery process and directing our investigation toward uncovering who is saying Mr. Govan had anything to do with Young Dolph being killed, and whether that person is bartering false information for his own benefit by throwing Govan under the bus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>            Tennessee Assistant District Attorney Paul Hagerman, who is prosecuting the case, reportedly declined to respond to requests for more information on the evidence against Govan after Thursday\u2019s hearing. \u201cI know that you all are wanting details, you\u2019re wanting facts, you\u2019re wanting sort of answers to some of these mysteries and things like that,\u201d he\u2019s quoted as saying. \u201cEven if we knew them, we couldn\u2019t tell you. As a matter of ethics and our requirements under the law, we\u2019ve got to confine ourselves to what\u2019s made public.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            Elsewhere on Thursday, the city of Memphis celebrated the first annual Adolph \u201cYoung Dolph\u201d Thornton Jr. Day of Service (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dolph-day.com\/\">Dolph Day<\/a>), coordinated by Dolph\u2019s family\u2019s non-profit, the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.idamae.org\/\">IdaMae Foundation<\/a>; his estate and Paper Route Empire, the local label he founded in 2010, announced his first posthumous album, <i>Paper Route Frank<\/i>, due out in December.
