She lived less than two miles away, and the two girls went to the same dance studio, the father said. <\/p>\n<p>In a chilling interview with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.the-sun.com\/news\/6708716\/jonbenet-ramsey-murder-key-clues-night-stalker-child-rapist\/\">The U.S. Sun<\/a>, the dad recalled how the same type of cigarette butts \u2014 Camel Blue \u2014 were found outside both homes and said he begged local police to investigate.<\/p>\n<p>But Boulder cops weren\u2019t interested, he charged. Authorities said earlier this month they would launch a new probe into her killing with cold case investigators.<\/p>\n<p>Amy awoke to see the stranger standing over her bed. He kept calling her name.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know who you are,\u201d he repeated, before warning, \u201cI\u2019ll knock you out, shut up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He then sexually attacked her, her father recounted.<\/p>\n<p>The dad hired a private investigator, who discovered the cigarette butts and found other possible links between the two cases \u2014 including nearly two dozen burglaries or trespassing reports in the area and background checks which showed possible suspects in Amy\u2019s case once worked in JonBenet\u2019s home \u2014 but police allegedly took no action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey were completely uninterested \u2026 they didn\u2019t care about my daughter\u2019s case and they didn\u2019t even really care about the Ramsey case either,\u201d he said.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
