The streaming service has revived the <em>Neighbours<\/em>\u00a0soap opera, which ended its 37 year run on Australian TV screens over the summer.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/neighbours-soap-amazon-freevee-return-1235264001\/\">The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> revealed that Stefan Dennis, Alan Fletcher, Ryan Moloney, and Jackie Woodburne are among the cast members who will return to reprise their roles. The series will go back into production next year for at least one more season.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-137333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the UK and US, the series will air on Amazon Freevee, and episodes will air on Prime Video in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Lauren Anderson, head of AVOD original content and programming at Amazon Studios, said the following about the series:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c<em>Neighbours<\/em>\u00a0has captivated its audience for nearly 40 years, building a dedicated and loyal following for the lives and stories of the characters on Ramsay Street. With the power of streaming, we\u2019re able to offer a catalog of thousands of\u00a0<em>Neighbours<\/em>\u00a0episodes for new audiences to discover this legendary series and current fans to relive their favorite moments.
