He was 49 years old.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-637ab7deb7aed-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>A rep for the actor confirmed the sad <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> to <em>People<\/em> on Saturday, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cUnfortunately, it is true. Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being. He loved his family, friends and fans very much. He will be truly missed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>While no official cause of death was mentioned, <em>TMZ<\/em> reports that Jason died by suicide in Texas. Heartbreaking\u2026<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-637ab7deb7af2-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Related: R&amp;B Singer B. Smyth Dead At 28 After Battle With Pulmonary Fibrosis<br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As fans know, he starred in the original <em>Mighty Morphin Power Rangers<\/em> franchise from 1993 to 1996, where he portrayed the villain turned green ranger. Jason later became the white ranger in the series. Over the years, he also worked on other <em>Power Rangers<\/em> projects, including the <em>Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie<\/em>, <em>Power Rangers Turbo<\/em>, <em>Zeo<\/em>, and <em>Dino Thunder<\/em>. His other acting credits included <em>Sweet Valley High<\/em>, <em>Family Matters<\/em>, and <em>We Bare Bears<\/em>. According to <strong>IMBD<\/strong>, he had been working on a film called <em>The Legend of the White Dragon<\/em> before his death.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond acting, Jason had been a professionally trained mixed martial artist who knew Taekwondo, Muay Thai, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and more. Per <em>TMZ<\/em>, he fought professionally between 2008 to 2010.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Following the news of his death, he was remembered by his former co-star <strong>Walter Emanuel Jones<\/strong> (Zack Taylor, the black ranger), who said in a statement to <em>People<\/em>:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-637ab7deb7af7-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cHe was an inspiration to so many people. His presence will be dearly missed. It\u2019s so sad to lose another member of our Ranger family. Jason was one of the biggest pranksters on the show. He had a wild sense of humor. We had our share of ups and downs, but I stayed consistent about being an ear if he needed one. My prayers go out to his family and all that will miss him. May he rest in Power.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Jason\u2019s death comes 21 years after their co-star <strong>Thuy Trang<\/strong> died in 2001 at the age of 27 from her injuries sustained in a car accident. Walter also shared a picture of himself, Jason, and their fellow original <em>Power Rangers<\/em> castmates, <strong>Austin St. John<\/strong> and <strong>David Yost<\/strong>, writing on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/ClMB26nLBDa\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=5502c266-7a6c-405d-9287-3e138472142a\"><strong>Instagram<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cCan\u2019t believe it\u2026.
