But I\u2019m fine and dandy now. And it felt really eerie because it was so similar [to my dad\u2019s],\u201d the Goop founder said.\u00a0\u201cShe went through it with so much grace. I was amazed at how strong she was able to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Danner currently does advocacy work for the Oral Cancer Foundation, which hopes to raise awareness of oral and oropharyngeal cancers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we\u2019ve all become somehow stronger. It\u2019s a bit of a crapshoot \u2014 this disease and this life,\u201d Danner said. \u201cBut I\u2019ve had a career, great kids and a loving husband.
