It is a methamphetamine derivative used on-label to treat symptoms of Parkinson\u2019s disease and is known to increase energy. Bankman-Fried reportedly<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.in\/investment\/news\/sam-bankman-fried-was-once-caught-playing-the-video-game-league-of-legends-during-a-pitch-meeting-for-ftx\/articleshow\/95436178.cms\"> played League of Legends<\/a> \u2014 at which he was \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/23ab2258-ce03-4fbb-a9b2-7d9ec6e3d7f0\">almost certainly really bad<\/a>\u201d \u2014 while conducting at least one Zoom meeting with millions of dollars at stake. <\/p>\n<p>The executive also made a name for himself by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/crypto\/2022\/11\/15\/politicians-sam-bankman-fried-donations-ftx-charity\/\">donating some $40 million to Democratic politicians<\/a> this election cycle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe gave money for this, money for that,\u201d a restaurateur in Nassau told The Post. \u201cI don\u2019t know if he is a great fellow with bad management.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Asked what the Albany locals are saying about the implosion of FTX, the high-society source responded: \u201cNothing.
