\n A Queens man is under fire after he was caught on video ripping down a Black Lives Matter sign, calling his neighborhood a \u201cwhite town\u201d and using racial and homophobic slurs.<\/p>\n

The man, identified as Anthony Abicca by nearly two dozen Twitter<\/a> users, many of whom went to school with him and shared yearbook photos of him, was captured engaging with Black Lives Matter protestors in Whitestone this week and admitted to being a racist, video posted to Twitter shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy are you doing that?\u201d an activist can be heard asking Abicca as he rips down a black lives matter sign hung on a highway overpass, video shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want you f\u2013kers in my f\u2013king town,\u201d Abicca replies in the video.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re racist,\u201d one of the activists says, leading Abicca to answer \u201cYea, and?\u201d the video shows.<\/p>\n

In another clip posted to Abicca\u2019s Snapchat account and shared on Twitter, Abicca is caught using racial and homophobic slurs.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday\u2019s episode is going to be on direct action,\u201d Abicca says in the video as he walks alongside another man.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you live in a nice town like I do, well it\u2019s not that, it\u2019s not that nice, but say you live in a nice little white town like Whitestone, right? And you see some obese\u2026 probably half-s\u2013c, half-white with some n\u2014r mixed in, he\u2019s putting up black lives matter signs on your f\u2013king overpass, you can\u2019t have that s\u2013t in Whitestone,\u201d Abicca continues, seemingly referencing the aforementioned confrontation with protestors.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo you know you pass by, you call \u2018em dirty n\u2014er lovers and f\u2014-ts and sh-t.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, activists swarmed the area Tuesday where Abicca had torn down the sign and posted up new black lives matter signs, video posted to Twitter shows.<\/p>\n

People who claim to know the man identified him online after the videos surfaced, shared yearbook photos of him and divulged their own stories of alleged racist vitriol he\u2019d been caught saying in the past.<\/p>\n

Some identified him as a student of the City College of New York and reached out to the publicly funded school demanding action, emails posted to Twitter show.<\/p>\n

A Change.org petition to have him kicked out of the school, and fired from his job, was started late Tuesday afternoon. At press time, nearly 1,400 people had signed the petition, which is seeking 1,500 names.<\/p>\n
