Another 30% said their top pick would be the 76-year-old former president. <\/p>\n<p>The result represents a 23-point swing in the poll from June, when Trump led DeSantis by 38% to 17% \u2014 and a 46-point swing from November of last year, when the 45th president led 56% to 12%.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith support barely half what it was a year ago in a time when DeSantis\u2019s vote has nearly <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>led, Trump becomes a severe underdog in the race,\u201d Rick Shaftan of Neighborhood Research and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media<\/a> wrote in his analysis.<\/p>\n<p>Another 30% of respondents said they were undecided about who their first choice would be, while no other potential candidate topped double-digit support. Former Vice President Mike Pence would be the first choice of 3% of respondents, while former Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds, South Dakota Gov. That<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/today.yougov.com\/topics\/politics\/articles-reports\/2022\/11\/11\/how-americans-feel-about-prospect-divided-congress\"> poll<\/a>, released Friday, was the first survey of the 2024 cycle to show the Florida governor ahead of Trump among Republican voters nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>The YouGov poll indicated 42% of Republicans and GOP-leaning independents preferred DeSantis over Trump to top the party\u2019s presidential ticket, while 35% stayed true to Trump.<\/p>\n<p>The Neighborhood Research and Media poll surveyed 393 likely Republican caucus-goers between Nov. 14 and Nov. 18.
