risky bets led to the implosion of its sister company FTX, used poker and blackjack card-counting tricks as strategies in trading cryptocurrency, according to a report.<\/p>\n<p>Sam Trabucco, the 30-year-old executive who ran Alameda alongside Caroline Ellison before resigning in August, has tweeted in the past about how his gambling exploits have guided his <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roach to cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBigger is Bigger (when Betting is Better),\u201d Trabucco wrote in a Jan. 12, 2021,\u00a0tweet\u00a0thread that was first <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2022-11-22\/alameda-former-co-ceo-sam-trabucco-used-poker-blackjack-strategies-in-trading?sref=MTy2GeXk\">spotted by Bloomberg News. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cGetting it in good is a poker term referring to the idea that, when your odds are best\u2026. you wanna bet more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trabucco also tweeted that he \u201cmay or may not be banned from 3 casinos\u201d for card-counting, a strategy whereby blackjack players try to beat the house by guessing the probability of getting high- and low-value cards on the next hand.
