\n The federal courthouse in Portland, where protesters clashed with the feds last month, was closed Friday after someone threatened to slam a bomb-filled vehicle into a federal building, according to a report.<\/p>\n

The Mark O. Hatfield Federal Courthouse \u2014 which became a national focal point after President Trump sent Department of Homeland Security agents to guard it last month \u2014 was shuttered after federal officials received the frightening threat Thursday night, according to The Oregonian.<\/p>\n

A nearby federal bankruptcy court was also closed, citing a \u201cthreat of violence in the area,\u201d the paper reported.<\/p>\n

A source familiar with the incident said it wasn\u2019t clear which federal building was the target of the would-be bombing. Federal officials didn\u2019t immedia<\/a>tely respond to messages seeking information.<\/p>\n

Hearings at the Hatfield courthouse will be rescheduled and the bankruptcy court said its services would operate remotely.<\/p>\n

Demonstrators who have been protesting police brutality in the city for 85 consecutive days faced off against tear gas-tossing federal officers after Trump deployed troops to the site to protect the city from \u201canarchists and agitators.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
