I had one job \u2014 to keep her safe,\u201d she said through tears of Caylee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI failed her again and again and again, because I still protected the person who hurt me,\u201d she said of her dad. \u201cI did protect my abuser \u2014 and protected her abuser. She told police that she had \u201cfound my daughter\u2019s car today and it smells like there\u2019s been a dead body in the damn car.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Casey then takes the phone and tells the operator Caylee had been taken by a nanny named Zenida Fernandez Gonzalez.<\/p>\n<p>Casey was arrested the next day on charges of child neglect, giving false statements and obstruction.
