It was discolored, split in sections and its concrete foundation had begun to crumble.<\/p>\n<p>Point hired a local artist to refurbish and repaint the statue.<\/p>\n<p>The day before Halloween, \u201cLobsta Mickey\u201d made its second public debut in the city, when it was set up on Concepts\u2019 Newbury Street showroom floor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople were a little terrified,\u201d Point told the Globe, referring of the customer response. \u201cPeople think we created this thing, which, of course, we didn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Point said he plans to keep \u201cLobsta Mickey\u201d on display through the holidays, before finding a new, long-term home somewhere within Boston.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
