His son, Greg, told <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2022\/11\/26\/amazing-race-donald-anthony-st-claire-dead-dies\/\">TMZ<\/a> in a story posted Saturday that his death came as a shock \u2014 a \u201cheart issue\u201d is suspected.<\/p>\n<p>St. Claire and his wife, Mary Jean, participated in the sixth season of the long-running CBS reality <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>. They were known as the team of \u201cGrandparents\u201d when the show aired in 2004. <\/p>\n<p>During the competition, Don was 69, and Mary Jean, an interior designer, was 65. They were eliminated in Germany, coming in eighth place. <\/p>\n<p>The award-winning winemaker \u2014 who was born on Jan. 10, 1935 \u2014 is survived by Mary Jean; children Valeri Andres, Donald St. Claire, Jr., Gregory St. Claire and Jeffrey St. Claire; stepchildren Michael Henningsen and Christa Flores; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Off screen, St. Claire practiced internal medicine in the Palo Alto area for more than 40 years, serving on the clinical faculty of Stanford University. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was a true animal lover who adored his dogs, and a loving father who didn\u2019t hesitate to end work early on Fridays to pull his kids from school for <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>s to Tahoe.
