He spent his 14th birthday laying in a hospital bed and died the next day, two days after he had fallen into the lake.<\/p>\n<p>The Douglas County Sheriff\u2019s Department is still investigating Roxborough community celebrated Dyllan\u2019s life Thursday with a candle vigil at Crystal Lake and remembered the teen, who leaves three younger siblings behind, as a hero.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe helped me through so much. Thick and thin,\u201d said McKayla Weadick, a friend. \u201cWe were just like were always together. We have so many memories together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dyllan\u2019s parents sat along the lake\u2019s shore as the community members released balloons in their son\u2019s memory.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe touched everybody.
