Asa Hutchinson (R), a potential 2024 presidential candidate, said on CNN\u2019s \u201cState of the Union\u201d that it was \u201cvery troubling\u201d for Trump to meet with Fuentes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s a good idea for a leader that\u2019s setting an example for the country or the party to meet with [an] avowed racist or antisemite,\u201d Hutchinson said.<\/p>\n<p>At the dinner, Ye reportedly asked Trump to be his running mate in 2024. The former president has already launched his White House bid. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr3_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>The rapper claimed in a video shared online that Trump \u201cstarted basically screaming at me at the table telling me I was gonna lose.\u201d Ye also said Trump was \u201creally impressed with Nick Fuentes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, after reports circulated about the dinner, Trump released a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of statements defending the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKanye West very much wanted to visit Mar-a-Lago,\u201d Trump wrote. \u201cOur dinner meeting was intended to be Kanye and me only, but he arrived with a guest whom I had never met and knew nothing about.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr4_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p><em>The Associated Press con<\/em>t<em>ributed to this report.<\/em>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
