\n President Trump\u2019s tweet blaming Democrats for California\u2019s rolling blackouts was basically right.<\/p>\n

As Trump noted this week, it amounts to \u201cintentionally implemented\u201d blackouts when your anti-carbon energy policies leave power generators \u201cunable to keep up with energy demand.\u201d Also correct: A Green New Deal \u201cwould take California\u2019s failed policies to every American.\u201d<\/p>\n

Overall demand in the Golden State hasn\u2019t been especially high, but clouds and low winds have reduced the output of the solar and wind plants that it\u2019s decided to rely on for as much electricity as possible. The carbon-based plants it\u2019s been closing down aren\u2019t so weather-dependant.<\/p>\n

Cali Democrats demanded all-renewables power just as Gov. Andrew Cuomo is here \u2014 and Joe Biden has vowed to do nationwide.<\/p>\n

As much as the media<\/a> may want to blast Trump\u2019s tone, the real lesson is: Don\u2019t put all your eggs in one basket \u2014 or in solar farms and wind turbines.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
