One way is to protect parts of the document, but another is to block authors from changing your text using the Block Authors feature.<\/p>\n<p>You can select a sentence or paragraph and stop collaborators from changing it. This feature isn\u2019t necessarily hidden, but it\u2019s not exactly obvious either. So, let\u2019s look at how to block authors in Microsoft Word.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Block_Authors_in_a_Word_Document\"><\/span>Block Authors in a Word Document<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With the Block Authors feature, you simply select what you want to keep safe.\u00a0With a couple of clicks, no one else can edit your text. The feature <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>lies to everyone you collaborate with, so you don\u2019t have to worry about choosing certain people. Plus, it works the same way on Windows and Mac.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <strong><em>How to Password Protect a Word Document<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Select the portion of your document you want to stop others from editing.
