The streamer has given a straight to series order to the project from Warner Bros. TV and writer Christy Hall (<em>I Am Not Okay With This<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    The novel was previously adapted for a 1995 feature film starring Sean Connery. Johansson, in one of her first movie roles, played the daughter of Connery\u2019s character.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    The series version of <em>Just Cause<\/em> will center on Madison \u201cMadi\u201d Cowart (Johansson), a reporter for a Florida <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>paper who\u2019s assigned to cover the final days of a death row inmate and comes to believe the prisoner\u2019s claims of innocence.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Johansson\u2019s These Pictures banner is producing with Warner Bros. TV. Hall will executive produce along with Johansson and These Pictures\u2019 Jonathan Lia and Keenan Flynn.
