The Kering-owned fashion house released its mea culpa in an <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Clg9BijLUHe\/\">Instagram post on Monday afternoon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe strongly condemn child abuse; it was never our intent to include it in the narrative,\u201d the luxury couture company wrote in the statement. Williams\u2019 2008 which confirms as illegal and not protected by freedom of speech the promotion of child pornography,\u201d Balenciaga wrote. \u201cAll the items included in this shooting were provided by third parties that confirmed in writing that these props were fake office documents.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>They added, \u201cThey turned out to be [real legal] papers most likely coming from the filming of a television drama.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Balenciaga attributed the \u201cinclusion of these unapproved documents\u201d to \u201creckless negligence,\u201d presumably by a contract worker hired for the photo shoot, whom \u201cBalenciaga has filed a complaint\u201d over.
