But over the last few years, the rail industry has reached out to startups to provide a way to gain their insights and draw them into its ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Examples of these initiatives include the UK\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.railinnovationgroup.com\/start-up-rail\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rail Innovation Group<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014<\/span> an incubator for rail startups \u2014 and Deutsche Bahn\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dbmindbox.com\/#page\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DB Mindbox<\/span><\/a>. Since 2015, the latter in particular, has organised hackathons and supported more than 150 startups with their proof of concept, 60% of which continue their business cooperation with DB.<\/p>\n<p>Startups provide an opportunity to innovate with <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a>, solving problems that have plagued the transport industry for decades, from repairs to safety, maintenance, and customer experience.
