It\u2019s a role that was written specifically for her by Jonathan Kasdan, whom she worked with on 2018\u2019s <em>Solo: A Star Wars Story<\/em> \u2014 a breakout role for Kellyman, who played the brutal and elusive resistance fighter Enfys Nest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cI had no idea that he would even remember me,\u201d says the actress, \u201clet alone have me in mind for this character.\u201d After reading the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a> for <em>Willow<\/em> (premiering Nov. 30 on Disney+), Kellyman says she im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely fell in love with Jade \u2014 a strong, silent type who\u2019s training for knighthood and has a fierce loyalty to her loved ones and her kingdom. \u201cI think if I\u2019d grown up where she\u2019d grown up, I\u2019d probably be exactly like her. [And] I think in all the ways that I\u2019m not like her right now, I am striving to be that. She\u2019s very courageous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    <em>Willow<\/em> picks up well over a decade after the events of the original film, as dark forces surround the land of Tir Asleen once more. At the heart of the show are the journeys of three women \u2014 the passionate but sometimes reckless princess Kit (Ruby Cruz), the lovestruck yet determined Dove (Ellie Bamber), and the brave and dedicated Jade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cOne of the qualities about Erin that\u2019s really at the forefront of her many gifts is that she can do silence like almost no one I\u2019ve ever seen,\u201d says Kasdan. \u201cShe can react in a way that is relatable and emotional and communicate just by looking at you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    In the past few years, the actress also has made notable appearances in Marvel\u2019s <em>The Falcon and the Winter Soldier<\/em> (as antagonist Karli Morgenthau) as well as in David Lowery\u2019s medieval fantasy <em>The Green Knight<\/em> and the 2018 adaptation of <em>Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em>. It was the surreality of her entry into the MCU that Kellyman, 24, says she\u2019s still processing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cI was a big fan, and my sister is obsessed with the movies and watches them religiously,\u201d Kellyman says about Marvel. \u201cI don\u2019t know when it\u2019s going to sink in. It hasn\u2019t yet. It\u2019s a very weird thing to be working on something with people that you\u2019ve admired for so long. I want to continue to do that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cThen, quite selfishly,\u201d she adds, \u201cI do want to also play characters that are so far from me that I have no experience in that sort of area whatsoever.
