It pledged to keep the model\u2019s sales below 20% of total group shipments over the car\u2019s life-cycle to retain a degree of exclusivity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s no secret that we stopped taking orders. We had such an interest without delivering one single car,\u201d Galliera was quoted as saying by the Australian website.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe made a decision that we thought was consistent with the positioning of\u00a0Ferrari\u00a0and the model,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Asked for a comment,\u00a0Ferrari\u00a0declined to provide further details.<\/p>\n<p>Waiting lists for new\u00a0Ferraris normally run around 18 months.
