(AP) \u2014 A Walmart employee who survived <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/walmart-shooting-chesapeake-virginia-b52927596381aa65efed367ce0c81c83\" data-ylk=\"slk:last week's mass shooting\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">last week&#8217;s mass shooting<\/a> at a store in Virginia has filed a $50 million lawsuit against the company for allegedly continuing to employ the shooter \u2014 a store supervisor \u2014 \u201cwho had known propensities for violence, threats and strange behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit, which <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears to be the first to stem from the shooting, was filed Tuesday in Chesapeake Circuit Court by Donya Prioleau. Walmart, which is headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, did not im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely respond to a written request seeking comment on the litigation.<\/p>\n<p>Prioleau&#8217;s suit alleges that she has experienced post-traumatic stress disorder, including physical and emotional distress, from witnessing <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/business-shootings-virginia-holidays-51f60562dd259f73ce19c1b4d2f20ded\" data-ylk=\"slk:the rampage in the store's breakroom on Nov. 22\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">the rampage in the store&#8217;s breakroom on Nov. 22<\/a>. Her lawsuit offers fresh details of the terrifying attack and provides a long list of troubling signs displayed by the shooter that she claims managers failed to address.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBullets whizzed by Plaintiff Donya Prioleau\u2019s face and left side, barely missing her,\u201d the lawsuit states. \u201cShe witnessed several of her coworkers being brutally murdered on either side of her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit adds: \u201cMs. Prioleau looked at one of her coworkers in the eyes right after she had been shot in the neck. Ms. Prioleau saw the bullet wound in her coworker\u2019s neck, the blood rushing out of it, and the shocked look on her coworker\u2019s helpless face.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/business-shootings-virginia-b36d3d89e8677cb2ae3d9a1702c3897d\" data-ylk=\"slk:Store supervisor Andre Bing\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">Store supervisor Andre Bing<\/a>, 31, fatally shot <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/business-shootings-virginia-30958aa5e765cde6fd3529e9d0ca6f3a?taid=6383b34db0437c0001d6fb4b&amp;utm_campaign=TrueAnthem&amp;utm_medium=AP&amp;utm_source=Twitter\" data-ylk=\"slk:six employees\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">six employees<\/a> and wounded several others before he died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit alleges that Bing \u201chad a personal vendetta against several Walmart employees and kept a \u2018kill list\u2019 of potential targets prior to the shooting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The list is in reference to a \u201cdeath note\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/business-shootings-virginia-b36d3d89e8677cb2ae3d9a1702c3897d\" data-ylk=\"slk:found on Bing's phone and released Friday by authorities.\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">found on Bing&#8217;s phone and released Friday by authorities.<\/a> The note appeared to contain specific references to people he worked with, but authorities redacted their names.<\/p>\n<p>Bing was a Walmart team leader who had worked for the company since 2010. He was responsible for managing the overnight stocking crew, including Prioleau, who started her job in May 2021, the lawsuit says.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit claims management knew or should have known about Bing&#8217;s disturbing behavior and lists several instances of alarming conduct.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrior to the shooting, Mr. Bing repeatedly asked coworkers if they had received their active shooter training,\u201d the suit states. \u201cWhen coworkers responded that they had, Mr. Bing just smiled and walked away without saying anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bing \u201cmade comments to other Walmart employees and managers suggesting that he would be violent if fired or disciplined,\u201d according to the suit, which also says Bing \u201cwas disciplined leading up to the shooting, making his violent outburst predictable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In another instance, Bing told co-workers \u201che ran over a turtle with a lawnmower just to see its (guts) spray out, which made him hungry and reminded him of ramen noodles,\u201d the lawsuit says.<\/p>\n<p>Bing was previously disciplined for bad behavior and harassing employees, but Walmart &#8220;kept employing him anyway,\u201d the suit says.<\/p>\n<p>In her court filing, Prioleau states that she and her mother attempted to take action against Bing.<\/p>\n<p>Prioleau had submitted a formal complaint on a Walmart Global Ethics Statement Form indicating that Bing had \u201cbizarrely and inappropriately commented on Ms. Prioleau\u2019s age,\u201d the lawsuit stated.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit alleges that Bing told her: \u201cIsn\u2019t your lady clock ticking? Shouldn\u2019t you be having kids?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prioleau also complained that Bing had harassed her for \u201cbeing poor and being short,\u201d according to the lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit states that she also informed Walmart that Bing called her a \u201cbitch\u201d under his breath.<\/p>\n<p>In September, Prioleau\u2019s mother expressed concerns to a Walmart manager about her daughter\u2019s safety \u201cbecause it appeared their concerns were falling on deaf ears,\u201d the lawsuit states.<\/p>\n<p>The manager said \u201cthere was nothing that could be done about Mr. Bing because he was liked by management,\u201d according to the suit.<\/p>\n<p>Before the shooting, Bing told co-workers that \u201cthe government was watching him,\u201d the suit says. \u201cHe kept black tape on his phone camera so no one could spy on him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the note left on his phone, Bing claimed he was harassed and said he was pushed to the brink by a perception that his phone was hacked. The note also accused colleagues of mocking him.<\/p>\n<p>Bing\u2019s death note rambles at times through 11 paragraphs, with references to nontraditional cancer treatments and songwriting.
