The incoming clients are based across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America and are collectively making over $400 billion annually. <\/p>\n<p>The purchase comes as CrossTower CEO Kapil Rathi stated on Nov. 24 that CrossTower has long been on the lookout to buy digital asset companies with a \u201cgood set of customers\u201d and a \u201cgood balance sheet,\u201d which included a second look at the now-bankrupt cryptocurrency lending platform Voyager, who is back on the market after its initial agreement with FTX recently fell through.<\/p>\n<p>Rathi said the access to over 600 exchange clients through the BEQUANT acquisition would also better position the firm to assist in re-establishing industry trust, which has been significantly dampened by recent events with FTX.<\/p>\n<p>CrossTower\u2019s deal was backed by London-based financial services firm Lydian Group, with CEO Gerard Lopez stating that he hoped CrossTower\u2019s acquisition would lead the way in bringing more professionalism and transparency to the industry.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"CrossTower_set_to_introduce_%E2%80%98industry-first_ESG_Crypto_Fund\"><\/span>CrossTower set to introduce \u2018industry-first\u2019 ESG Crypto Fund<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The trading platform also announced that they will soon offer an Environment, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Social<\/a>, and Governance (ESG)-focused Crypto Fund which will invest in \u201cpromising\u201d companies that demonstrate a sufficient level of social and governance accountability in addition to efficiently managing energy costs.<\/p>\n<p>While CrossTower didn\u2019t disclose any potential companies that may become part of its new fund but the trading platform said it would look for companies that aren\u2019t fueled by \u201cgreed\u201d and instead prioritize \u201cthe democratization of finance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>CrossTower added it would look for digital asset companies with a \u201cproper board structure [&#8230;] checks and balances, and traditional business expertise\u201d adding the crypto companies \u201cin trouble\u201d today are due to \u201chuman failure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Saving the planet could be blockchain\u2019s killer <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The announcement of CrossTower\u2019s industry-first ESG Crypto Fund comes as a number of industry leaders told recently Cointelegraph that The Ethereum Merge, which took place on Sept. 15, would become a \u201cbig factor\u201d behind institutional investment decision-making, particularly for firms like Fidelity Investments, BlackRock and Goldman Sachs who have ESG mandates.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, a June study by investment management firm Morningstar found that 80% of investors who hold ESG-themed investments also own cryptocurrencies as <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/06\/17\/why-many-young-esg-investors-also-own-cryptocurrencies.html\">reported<\/a> by CNBC.<\/p>\n<p>By contrast, the study also found that only 22% of non-ESG investors own cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"crypto_biz\"><\/template><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
