They\u2019d rented a big tent to avoid the weather, and prepared a makeshift stage for the one-man-band to play from:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt was rainy, but he\u2019d rented a 40-by-60 circus tent. \u2026 They put up a bunch of carpets over the mud and then got two pieces of three-and-a-quarter-inch plywood and set it on the ground \u2014 and that was my stage. Jake goes, \u2018Is that gonna be all right for you?\u2019 And I go, \u2018Jake, that\u2019s perfect.\u2019 A piece of plywood or a flatbed trailer is where I shine.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Sadly, no one knew this would be the last night they\u2019d spend celebrating with the Red Dirt singer. The musician\u2019s longtime publicist, <strong>Clif Doyal<\/strong>, confirmed to the outlet on Sunday that Jake had sadly passed away in his sleep \u2014 only hours after he married his wife. He was only 37 and his cause of death is unknown. So, so heartbreaking.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63870c05b4ebc-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Related: Aaron Carter\u2019s Ashes To Be Spread With Deceased Sister &amp; Mom When She Passes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hosty told the outlet he\u2019d like to remember the couple when they were h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>iest:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI really just like remembering that happy moment of seeing them being married \u2026 but I really feel for Brenda.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63870c05b4ec0-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And Doyal didn\u2019t have anything but good things to say about his client following his passing:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">\u201cHe was not only a client, he was a dear friend and just a super nice guy. As you can see from the outpouring on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a>, he was loved by everybody. I think a lot of it was just that he was a people person, and he had an amazing sense of humor. He made everybody laugh, and he made everybody feel welcome. He was an ambassador for Oklahoma Red Dirt music.\u201d\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Jake released three four studio albums across his career from 2016 to last year. He also charted three singles on the Texas Regional Radio Report with his 2017 song <em>Cowtown<\/em>, 2018\u2019s <em>Long Road Back Home<\/em>, and 2020\u2019s <em>What\u2019s Your Name<\/em>. He was an up-and-coming artist whose career was budding quickly \u2014 but sadly came to an end far too soon.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63870c05b4ec3-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The country music singer\u2019s grief-stricken bride is understandably having a hard time. She posted a video to <strong>Facebook<\/strong> on Monday which showed herself and Jake dancing following their marriage, which she captioned:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI don\u2019t understand.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Brenda also updated her status on Tuesday, where she expressed the heartbreak she\u2019s experiencing that very few will ever understand:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63870c05b4ec7-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWe should be going through wedding photos but instead I have to pick out clothes to bury my husband in. People aren\u2019t meant to feel this much pain. My heart is gone and I just really need him to come back. I can\u2019t take much more. I need him here.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Just gut-wrenching.
