\n Earl Thomas, the Ravens\u2019 seven-time Pro Bowl safety, may have cost himself his job following a heated argument with fellow safety Chuck Clark during Friday\u2019s practice.<\/p>\n

Thomas was sent home from practice following the altercation, which was sparked by him missing an assignment, according to ESPN. They two yelled at each other on the sidelines and Thomas even put up his fists at one point, leading coaches and teammates to restrain both.<\/p>\n

Thomas was not spotted at Saturday\u2019s practice, ESPN reported. The Ravens players\u2019 \u201cLeadership Council made it clear to decision makers they would prefer Thomas not be around,\u201d according to CBS, though cutting Thomas could be tricky with the 31-year-old in the second year of a four-year, $55 million contract.<\/p>\n

CBS also reported that Ravens players \u201cstrongly\u201d supported Clark, while NFL Network said Thomas being released is a possibility.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll find out the details of it,\u201d head coach John Harbaugh told reporters Friday of the incident.\u00a0 \u201cIt just lasted longer than it needed to for me. You\u2019re going to have these things in training camp. I think you\u2019re going to have tempers flare, sure. It happ<\/a>ens every training camp, especially right about now, probably. But I don\u2019t like them when they extend like that and eat into our reps, and we\u2019re going to have to find out why and make sure that doesn\u2019t happen. We need to keep our eye on the prize, which is preparing for the Browns.\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Thomas, a former star for the Seahawks, has had issues with a teammate in Baltimore. Last season, Thomas had a \u201cheated talk\u201d with nose tackle Brandon Williams following a 40-25 loss to the Browns because he was frustrated Williams was inactive for the game<\/a> due to injury. Thomas later said the two reconciled.<\/p>\n

Thomas\u2019 latest incident is coming off a hectic offseason for the veteran, who was allegedly held at gunpoint by his wife after he was caught having an affair with another woman.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
