Jackson is challenging his \u201cPulp Fiction\u201d director over his anti-Marvel comments.<\/p>\n<p>Quentin Tarantino, 59, recently made a controversial statement on the \u201cMarvel-ization of Hollywood,\u201d claiming that Marvel actors aren\u2019t movie stars.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPart of the Marvel-ization of Hollywood is\u2026you have all these actors who have become famous playing these characters. But they\u2019re not movie stars. Right?\u201d Tarantino said on the \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/episode\/4qv8O8WaQZTOQMGzsSZsWy?si=8E3Iz9egRju6J153zg1IvQ\">2 Bears, 1 Cave<\/a>\u201d podcast. \u201cCaptain America is the star. Or Thor is the star. I mean, I\u2019m not the first person to say that. What are we talking about?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jackson specifically pointed out the late Chadwick Boseman \u2014 whose film \u201cBlack Panther\u201d was nominated for best picture at the Oscars \u2014 as well as Scarlett Johansson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s not a big controversy for me to know that these actors are movie stars. Chadwick Boseman is Black Panther. They are transcendent auteurs.
