Hakeem Jeffries on Wednesday for repeatedly denying the legitimacy of former President Donald Trump\u2019s 2016 election.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> offensive came from both GOP lawmakers and the Republican National Committee shortly after Jeffries was elevated as the leader of his party in the lower chamber. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHakeem Jeffries called the 2016 election ILLEGITIMATE. Why are Democrats electing an ELECTION DENIER to lead their party? Where is the media outrage labeling Jeffries a THREAT to Democracy?\u201d Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Tenn.) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RonnyJacksonTX\/status\/1598047280661430272?s=20&amp;t=gz1PHeow77nXXN6MOELtEg\">said<\/a> in a tweet Wednesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>RNC staffer Kyle Martinsen tweeted out a thread highlighting eight times Jeffries \u201cdenied election results.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Martinsen\u2019s thread included tweets from Jeffries in which he claimed congressional elections had been \u201cstolen by rogue Republican operatives,\u201d alleged that the GOP cheated in 2016 by colluding with Russia, and said that a \u201dcloud of illegitimacy\u201d hung over the Trump White House.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-wrapper twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">THREAD: Here are 8 times Hakeem Jeffries \u2014 the Democrats&#8217; new House leader \u2014 denied election results. <\/p>\n<p>1. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) as leader of the House Democrats.
