electric commercial truck, the Semi, after years of delays.<\/p>\n<p> The invitation-only event will be held Thursday evening at the electric-vehicle maker\u2019s plant outside of Reno, Nev.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Tesla<br \/>\n        TSLA,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/203558040\/lastsale\" class=\"\"><\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       unveiled the Semi\u2019s prototype in 2017 and the truck was expected to enter production in 2019. After several delays, the chip shortage caused the latest postponement, with Tesla saying a year ago that production would start this year. <\/p>\n<p>Tesla has said the Semi has a 500-mile range.
