One would have thought the 33-year-old reality star would be heartbroken over the split \u2014 that did not seem to be the case! And viewers of his <strong>Netflix<\/strong> show quickly pieced together why!<\/p>\n<p>The same day they announced their breakup, Tyler was seen getting cozy with Alex during an outing at a sushi restaurant called <strong>SOTA<\/strong> in Corona del Mar, California, alongside friend and co-star <strong>Polly Brindle<\/strong>. After all, Tyler had been flirty with his female co-stars, especially Alex, throughout the season. Does anyone else remember her giving the real estate agent a \u201cnosey?\u201d Come on, making out is cheating no matter how wrong you do it! LOLz!<\/p>\n<p>His behavior with his co-stars was reportedly one of the big wedges that came between him and Brittany. A source told <em>Page Six<\/em> at the time:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cEveryone who knows Tyler and Brittany knows she wasn\u2019t comfortable with the show. That\u2019s why he did his best to keep his marriage and the show separate, but it only backfired.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-638949720be5d-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Another insider added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe show basically destroyed their marriage. Brittany was not happy with what she saw.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Alex and Tyler\u2019s relationship on the show definitely didn\u2019t appear to be platonic. Not to mention that their other co-star <strong>Kayla Cardona<\/strong> even tried to kiss him during a night out that was not caught on camera \u2014 which she claims she never would have done if the feelings were not reciprocated in the moment. So it\u2019s completely understandable why Brittany is done with him after everything that went down!<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-638949720be61-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>But Alex has never told her side of all this\u2026<\/p>\n<p>So where do she and Tyler stand now that he has called it quits with the <em>Pitch Perfect<\/em> alum? According to the <strong>Oppenheim Group<\/strong> agent, there is nothing going on between them! Finally addressing those pictures of them at the sushi restaurant with <em>People<\/em> on Wednesday, she said a whole group was there supporting Tyler during a \u201creally hard time\u201d:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cWe were literally at our favorite sushi restaurant right by the office and somebody snapped a picture on their iPhone of us. And we were out with more than just us. There was definitely all of us friends, but at the end of the day, Tyler was going through a really, really hard time.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-638949720be65-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She also insisted the castmates are \u201cjust friends\u201d, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI think people really want to hold onto that idea that there\u2019s something there between Tyler and [I]. I mean, at this point, we\u2019re just friends, so there\u2019s nothing more to it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Huh. That\u2019s rather inneresting wording, isn\u2019t it? They\u2019re just friends \u201cat this point.\u201d Not they\u2019ve\u00a0<em>always<\/em> been just friends or they <em>always will be<\/em> just friends. They are \u201cat this point.\u201d Hmm.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-638949720be68-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Alex also noted Brittany and Tyler\u2019s breakup \u201chad been long coming,\u201d adding:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHis close friends know a little bit more about his personal life than the audience knows. So anybody in their right mind, I mean, who do you call when you\u2019re going through issues? You call your friends.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>As for whether her and Tyler\u2019s friendship had something to do with his divorce to Brittany? Alex contends:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-638949720be6b-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think that mine and Tyler\u2019s friendship had any contribution to his divorce. Tyler is a grown man and Brittany is a grown woman. I think that people need to understand there was a life that they had way before Tyler started filming and long before him and I ever became friends.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Yeah, a life in which they were happy enough to get married.
