When he got to the lobby, he heard the Amazonian \u201cmaking a scene with the doorman, yelling at him,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Hanks gave the worker a look, \u201clike why are you blocking the door and yelling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Amazon worker then turned to Hanks, screaming about what his problem was. When he told her he wanted to leave the building, she let him go, but continued raging at the doorman, Hanks said.<\/p>\n<p>When he got outside, Hanks, an IT worker, said he whipped out his iPhone camera and sn<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed a photo of the worker. \u201cShe got mad at me and started yelling at me a bunch and \u2026 I decided to start recording her, \u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s when the worker \u2014 about 6 inches shorter than the 6-foot Hanks \u2014 allegedly socked him in the eye.<\/p>\n<div class=\"inline-slideshow\" canvassed the area with Hanks, but nobody \u2014 not even Amazon workers in the area \u2014 claimed to have seen the suspect or recognized her from the snap.<\/p>\n<p>An exasperated Hanks complained to Amazon about the attack, but he received an automated response from the corporate giant saying they were very sorry about his \u201cdelivery experience.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Fumed Hanks: \u201cI said I was assaulted!\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The company has now \u201cescalated\u201d their probe into the incident, he said. <\/p>\n<p>The punch is the latest salvo in the war between Amazon and the UWS.<\/p>\n<p>Residents and business owners over the summer said they had had enough of the contract delivery drivers causing traffic chaos by double-parking their mammoth trucks and hogging huge because they take up too much space. \u2026 I don\u2019t think any other delivery business would get away with it,\u201d Hanks groused, adding, \u201cIt has been over a week since I first started communicating with Amazon about this incident and they have yet to acknowledge that an assault took place \u2026 there\u2019s no accountability.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Hanks is preparing now to fight a corporate behemoth. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going to wait and see if Amazon is going to take action. If Amazon doesn\u2019t want to acknowledge responsibility, then I may have to do something legally to get their attention,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Said the former customer: \u201cI\u2019m doing business with Walmart now to stick it to the man.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amazon did not return messages.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
