He was 83 years old. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeaks\u201d\u00a0producer and longtime Lynch collaborator Sabrina Sutherland confirmed the actor\u2019s passing in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough the darkness of future past and much sadness we say goodbye to Al Strobel,\u201d she wrotein a statement on behalf of his family, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tvline.com\/2022\/12\/04\/al-strobel-dies-twin-peaks-dead-obituary\/\">according to TVLine.<\/a> \u201cHe is an irreplaceable human being and will always be an important part of our\u00a0\u2018Twin Peaks\u2019\u00a0family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As of yet, Strobel\u2019s official cause of death has not been revealed. <\/p>\n<p>Born in 1939 in Seattle, Washington, the dramatist is best known for playing the Phillip Gerard (aka \u201cThe One-Armed Man\u201d) on David Lynch\u2019s iconic ABC fantasy <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> \u201cTwin Peaks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Strobel\u2019s character was a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a>ing shoe salesman who was possessed by an evil entity that made him commit evil acts. In order to exorcise the demon, Gerard sliced off his own arm, earning the aforementioned moniker.
