Unfortunately, reducing our workforce is an essential part of cost cutting. Staff salaries are the single largest cost at the company.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Peretti said he expected the economic downturn to extend well into 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Several <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> companies, including Meta Platforms, Twitter and Snap, have cut jobs and scaled back hiring in recent months as higher interest rates, rising inflation and an energy crisis in Europe start to take a toll on the economy.<\/p>\n<p>BuzzFeed shares fell 4% to $1.09.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
