I disagree. Twitter 2.0 is the half you laid off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany of us are willing to take legal action,\u201d Sage-Lee added.<\/p>\n<p>The Post has reached out to Twitter for comment.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-wrapper twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Why arbitration and not a class action?<\/p>\n<p>Because Twitter tricked its workers into signing away their human rights to an open court and a jury trial in any employment disputes. Its onboarding documents required workers to &#8220;opt out&#8221; and of course few did.<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/lovewhereyouworked?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#lovewhereyouworked<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Lisa Bloom (@LisaBloom) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LisaBloom\/status\/1599900961405022209?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 5, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Twitter laid off about half of its 7,500-employee global workforce in early November as Musk enacted a drastic cost-cutting plan. Last month, he said the cuts were unavoidable because Twitter was losing $4 million per day and faced bankruptcy without a turnaround.<\/p>\n<p>Later, Musk required remaining employees to \u201copt in\u201d to an agreement to adopt a hardcore work culture that included long hours in the office.
