alleged role in the suppression of The Post\u2019s Hunter Biden laptop expose.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn light of concerns about Baker\u2019s possible role in suppression of information important to the public dialogue, he was exited from Twitter today,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1600237095364096000?s=20&amp;t=zaWD4uTYUzSEPo3mlTcGlg\">Musk wrote on Twitter Tuesday.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Musk added that he <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1600240461070749696?s=20&amp;t=0az11qhCx-IQJGb6pCiTsA\">questioned Baker<\/a> before his firing about the events surrounding the laptop suppression scandal and that his explanation was \u201cunconvincing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baker was previously general counsel for the FBI under former Director James Comey and was a key figure in the Bureau\u2019s investigation into false claims of collusion between Russia and Donald Trump\u2019s 2016 presidential campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Baker\u2019s exit from the social media giant comes after independent journalist Matt Taibbi revealed internal documents showing Baker and other top Twitter execs deliberating over what to do about The Post\u2019s October 2020 story on Hunter Biden\u2019s
