The pressure she felt to conform to unrealistic body standards were so overwhelming she started placing her body image above her health.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Shania Twain Had To \u2018Flatten\u2019 Her Boobs To Avoid Sexually Abusive Stepfather<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>The now 35-year-old was a superstar in kids television, portraying the beloved Lizzie McGuire character in a show with the same name before she even turned 18. She was the <strong>Disney Channel<\/strong> it-girl for many years, but now that she\u2019s older she\u2019s changing her views of fame and how she treats herself.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-638fd66762c49-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The <em>How I Met Your Father<\/em> star tells the interviewer she\u2019s surrounded herself with positivity and like-minds:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c[I\u2019m] <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>reciating my health, doing activities that make me feel strong instead of just bettering the outside of my body. Spending time with people that make me feel good and share similar views on health and body positivity and getting enough sleep and balance in my diet.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>We\u2019re so glad Hil is leading her healthiest and happiest life! This isn\u2019t the first time she\u2019s opened up about body positivity, either. Back in May the actress showed off her body in a nude photoshoot for <em>WH<\/em>\u2018s Body Issue. At the time, she shared just how proud of herself and her body she was:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-638fd66762c4c-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m proud of my body. I\u2019m proud that it\u2019s produced three children for me. I\u2019ve gotten to a place of being peaceful with the changes my body has gone through. I also want people to know a makeup artist was there putting glow all over my body and someone put me in the most flattering position.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The <em>A Cinderella Story<\/em> star shares her 10-year-old son <strong>Luca<\/strong> with her ex <strong>Mike Comrie<\/strong>, and has her daughters, 4-year-old <strong>Banks<\/strong> and 1-year-old <strong>Mae<\/strong>, with hubby <strong>Matthew Koma<\/strong>. According to personal trainer <strong>Dominic Leeder<\/strong> via the magazine, even though health is important to the mom of three, her family always comes first!<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>It\u2019s amazing to hear how far Hilary has come and how she\u2019s grown.
