Don\u2019t love him; I like him <em>a lot<\/em>. The shit he say tickles me pink and I\u2019m like, \u2018I can\u2019t believe this n-gga said that!\u2019 It\u2019s dope. I fucks with him,\u201d he said. \u201cMy n-gga, you not a lyricist. Fuck all that.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit300\" class=\"adUnits\" inserted=\"shortcode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Ghost went on to say he believes Drake \u2014 who 21 Savage recently dropped the joint album <em>Her Loss<\/em> with \u2014 should\u2019ve checked the Atlanta native over his comments about Nas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDrake\u2019s supposed to tell this n-gga, \u2018Chill. That\u2019s Nasir Jones,&#8217;\u201d he continued. \u201cMy n-gga, you are talented, you are dope, you are fucking fly, your flavor, you mean a lot to the culture, you are important.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[But] you ain\u2019t one of them. You ain\u2019t a three-point shooter from deep. Nas is. Drake\u2019s supposed to say, \u2018I am. Kendrick is. Cole is. You are not. You don\u2019t even deserve to be next to me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut if you earned your keep, guess what? I\u2019ma step right here. Who the fuck am I egoistically to step on that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>21 Savage\u2019s contentious comments came during a Clubhouse call in November, shortly after the release of Nas\u2019 <em>King\u2019s Disease 3<\/em> album with Hit-Boy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t feel like he\u2019s relevant,\u201d he said during a discussion about veteran rappers. \u201cHe\u2019s not relevant. He just has a loyal fanbase and he still makes good-ass music. But relevant? Nah.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit500\" class=\"adUnits\" inserted=\"shortcode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The <em>Savage Mode<\/em> rapper later clarified his comments on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>, writing: \u201cI would never disrespect nas or any legend who paved the way for me y\u2019all be tryna take stuff and run with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But that didn\u2019t stop the flood of criticism, with Hit-Boy, Kodak Black, Fivio Foreign and others slamming 21 Savage for his remarks. Actor\/director Michael Rapaport, a fiercely outspoken champion of Golden Age Hip Hop, labeled 21 a \u201c<em>Cat in the Hat<\/em> rapper.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rO403DqbUDM\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rO403DqbUDM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Nas, on the other hand, saw the controversy as an opportunity to bridge Hip Hop\u2019s generational divide by joining forces with 21 Savage on the song \u201cOne Mic, One Gun,\u201d which dropped by surprise on November 29.<\/p>\n<p>The two had actually been planning a collaboration before the backlash. \u201cWay before all that other shit happened, we been figuring out how we was gonna do a song before this,\u201d 21 revealed during a Clubhouse call following the song\u2019s release.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit600\" class=\"adUnits\" inserted=\"shortcode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cHe been telling me he was a fan of my shit.
